Phoebe Miller

Biography

Phoebe Miller received her bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Michigan. Her undergraduate work focused on isolating natural products from uncharacterized bacterial species, and she was awarded the “Most Likely to Become a Mad Scientist” superlative for her cohort. She began her career at the Ramnik Xavier lab at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where she investigated the gut microbiome’s impact on the immune system and discovered a passion for immunology. At the Baker lab, in conjunction with Mariko Morimoto’s lab, her work includes develping pMHC-based bispecific T cell engagers to manipulate immune responses. In Phoebe’s free time, she enjoys cooking extravagant meals, practicing yoga, reading horror novels, and traveling the world with her beloved friends.
